THE ROUTE "arakhveti village"

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE:


 

We start skitouring form village Arakhveti located lower in valley than Gudauri and its 25 min driving from ski resort. skitouring or snowshoeing starts from village and heads to semi forrest mountain. After climbing 700-800 trough forrest you will have magical descent with fresh fields and some forrest sections. The beautiful landscape and the high gradient slopes give you the best runs in the area with Gudauri ski resort and Aragvi river valley view.

 

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

 

  • Touring Skis/Splitboard/ Snowshoes (available for hire)

  • Backpack with fastening for ski or snowboard

  • Transceiver, avalanche probe, shovel (available for hire)

  • Helmet

 

 

The price of our program includes a safe descent to a destination with two guides, improving riding techniques (if needed), and a shuttle service from the finish line to the resort of Gudauri
